SmackDown opens up with Alberto del Rio trash talking Rey, and saying that Rey Mysterio is a disgrace and what not to the Mexican culture. Alberto has a pinata in the ring, with Rey Mysterio’s mask on it, and viciously smashes it. He then goes on to say how he’s so happy he has taken Rey out of the WWE. Unfortunately, Rey does not come out…but instead, his good friend Christian comes out to defend his honor! He says that seeing his good friend get injured from him was just wrong, and that the only jackass that’s in the ring is Alberto - not the donkey pinata.

Sadly, Rey was not featured on the show.

World Heavyweight Champion Kane defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall.
Tony Chimel opens up SmackDown introducing a No Disqualification match. Rey Mysterio then comes out to a huge pop, followed by Kane. The match begins and Rey immediately goes after Kane. He sends some punches, and quite a few kicks, only for Kane to send an uppercut Rey’s way. Kane then takes Rey, and tosses him out of the ring. He then follows Rey, and sends him on the barricade – chest first. Kane then takes Rey and sends him in the ring. Kane then goes underneath the ring, and brings out a kendo stick. Kane enters the ring, but Rey gets the stick from Kane, and begins to beat him with it! Rey uses the second rope for momentum, but Kane gives Rey a big ol’ boot to the face, and then goes for a pin – landing himself a two count.

Rey is then in the corner, and Kane sends some punches, and gets Rey’s head in the ropes, and puts pressure on it with his boots. He then whips Rey to the opposite corner, and gets another nearfall. Kane then takes Rey and goes a for a submissive move, but Rey gets up and begins to kick and punch Kane! Rey is then on the apron, and is ready to hop up, but Kane comes and sends him another big boot. Kane then follows Rey outside, and sends him some punches and kicks at the steel steps. Rey then moves, and sends Kane into the steel steps! He gets on the announcers table, and sends Kane a Seated Senton!

Back in the ring, Kane has control and gets another near fall in. Kane then goes for another submission move in the middle of the ring. Rey begins to slip out of it, and sends some forceful knees his way. Rey uses the seconds rope to go after Kane, but Kane gets him with a side drop, and another near fall. Kane then goes to get a steel chair, and brings it to the ring. Rey is in the corner, and Kane is about to swing, but Rey gives him a giant kick to the chair, and another one to Kane. Rey then lands a Seated Senton, and sets Kane up for the 619 after. Rey goes for it, but Kane gets up, grabs him by the throat. Then he goes for a power bomb, but Rey drops out, and grabs the chair! Rey sends the chair at Kane’s knee, and then to his back! Rey then sets up the 619, and connects! He launches off the ropes, but Kane grabs him by the throat and lands a chokeslam on the chair.

After the match, Kane leaves the ring, and Rey has to be rolled out of the ring. He begins to talk to the trainers, and seems like he’s in a bit of pain. Rey is talking to the trainers when Alberto comes out. Alberto then comes to Rey, and asks if he’s ok. Rey just stares at him, as Alberto begins to say that someone needs to put him down, and then sends Rey into the barricade. Rey begins to hold his arm, and now looks like he’s in more pain then ever. The trainers try to get the new newbie away from Rey, and Alberto then uses his armbar on Rey’s injured arm – the arm he messed up last week when he took Rey on. Alberto then leaves and looks back at Rey. He begins to walk back, as Rey is seen with the trainers. Alberto goes for the steel chair that was used earlier, and puts Rey’s injured arm in it, then sends him into the ringpost. Rey is then seen on the floor, in pain, as Alberto leaves with a big ol’ grin.

SmackDown opens up with Rey Mysterio coming out to a huge pop. Rey gets in the ring with a huge smile on his face, and then gets on the mic. He then wants to thank the WWE Universe. He says, “thank you for believing in me.” He also said that things didn’t turn the way he expected, but luckily, he didn’t end in a casket. Rey then goes on to say that a lot of people were accused of taking out Taker’, and he’s so glad his name was cleared. He then goes on to say that we all know Kane attacked Undertaker. As soon as Rey says that, Alberto del Rio then comes out to the ring all “suave” and what not. He then attempts to do what Rey does, and speak Spanish to the crowd. Alberto goes to Rey, and say’s it’s such an “honor.” Alberto calls Rey the “Mexican Idol.” Del Rio goes on to say that they’re both national heroes, and that his bloodline comes from amazing things, while Rey’s is from the street of Tijuana. Rey tells him to be careful what he’s saying, and Del Rio calls Rey the “little worm at the bottom of my tequila.” Del Rio then calls Rey a joke, and tells him to look at Del Rio. He’s handsome, rich, powerful – a man who works. Rey goes on to say that Alberto’s suit is nice, as well as the cufflinks, and his cousin has a pair, and Rey was with him when he bought them at the swat meet. Rey then says that “tu no eres nadi aqui.” Which means, he’s nothing here. He’s nobody. Just because he looks suave, doesn’t mean Rey has to respect him, or better yet, the WWE Universe. Rey then goes on to say respect is earned here, and Alberto didn’t gain any of our respect. Alberto goes on to say he doesn’t need to earn anything from them, and calls Rey a peasant. Alberto then says Rey has to respect him, and if he doesn’t, he’ll make him. Rey say’s that he’s not his friend, and if he wants his respect and the fans, then come and get it! Rey then goes on to say he wants to take on Alberto tonight – one on one! Alberto then says he’ll do it, because he can’t wait to squeeze, to destroy Rey, like the little “cockroach that he is.” Alberto then gets in Rey’s face, and Rey begins to punch him out! Rey then sets up Alberto into the 619, and lands it! Rey then walks away, with a disgust look on his face.

Later on, Alberto Del Rio comes out in a car, with his own ring announcer. After his entrance, Rey then comes out to the crowd on their feet, cheering. The match begins, and Alberto just smiles at Rey. Alberto quickly gets a kick in, and sends Rey into the corner. He throws some punches, and kicks, and then takes Rey to the center, and whips him into the corner. Del Rio picks Rey up, and Rey begins to give Alberto his own kicks and punches! Rey then sends Alberto flying through the air, and sends him out of the ring!

Back in the ring, Alberto is in the corner, with Rey in control. The men are out, and Alberto takes control over Rey. Rey ends up out of the ring, and del Rio follows. He takes Rey’s arm and slams it down on the steel steps. He then stands on Rey’s arm, and gloat to the fans. The men are back in the ring, and Alberto goes for a cover. He then puts Rey into a submissive armbar, but Rey begins to kick Alberto! Rey then gets out, and begins to kick him again. Rey then uses the ropes for momentum, but Alberto kicks Rey, and goes for a cover. After a nearfall, Alberto goes and plants Rey on the mat, and then gets on the top rope, and goes for senton, but Rey rolls out of the way! Rey gets up, as Alberto is down, and lands a sweet kick, right in the temple! Rey then goes for a cover, but only gets a two count. Rey then lands his own seated senton, which is followed by a crossbody and goes for a cover!

Alberto kicks out, and as he goes after Rey, Rey lands him in the 619! Alberto then grabs Rey by the legs, and launches him into the corner. Rey then kicks Alberto, and hops on the top rope, but Alberto sweeps Rey’s leg out from under him. Alberto then goes for another armbar on Rey’s now injured arm, landing it quickly, making Rey tap immediately.

After the match, which Alberto just won, Alberto then goes on the move again on Rey. Rey cries out in pain, and the man just gloats over him.

Kane defeated Rey Mysterio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
Kane was then pointed out by the Undertaker as his attacker – not Rey!
A quick review of the feud is shown before the match. Rey Mysterio then comes out in all red/orange, ready to take on Kane for the World Heavyweight Match! Rey is ready to begin, and Kane then comes out…with a casket. The match begins, and the men start off in the ring. Rey Quickly goes for a kick, and is backed into a corner. Kane begins throwing some punches, then whips Rey into the opposite corner. Kane then picks up Rey and puts him down. Rey gets up quickly, and takes Kane down, and goes for a cover.

Kane then gets on Rey, giving Rey a taste of an uppercut. Rey then gets Kane into the 619, but Kane gets out, followed by a kick to Rey’s gut, and then sends him out of the ring. Kane gets out, and Rey gets back in. As Kane goes in, Rey kicks Kane in the mouth, and gets out of the ring to land a Seated Senton! The men are back in the ring, with Rey on the top rope, but Kane takes him down easily. Rey is now down, and Kane sends Rey into the steel ringpost. Rey then lands outside, and holds his abdomen area in pain. Kane picks Rey up, and sends him back first into the ringpost. Kane then sends Rey in the ring, and instead of going for a cover, he picks Rey up, and hangs him on the ropes, and kicks him in the head, sending Rey out of the ring once again.

Kane follows him, and sends Rey back into the ring. He then goes for a cover, but Rey kicks out. Kane picks Rey up and sends him into the corner, goes for a cover, and Rey kicks out. Kane then takes Rey and puts him into a giant bearhug. Rey begins to kick through and gets on his feet. He then takes Kane down to Rey’s size, and leaps into the air, and is then caught in another bearhug. Kane then begins to scream “give up Rey!” But Rey doesn’t, and counters! Rey gets a kick to Kane, and then sets Kane into the 619!

Kane knows it’s coming, and gives a giant clothesline to Rey, and goes for a pin. Rey kicks out at two, and Kane picks him up after. Kane then sends Rey out of the ring, face first, onto the floor. The referee begins to count outl oud, and once he reaches 8, Rey gets on the apron, and battles against Kane! Rey gets on the top rope, but Kane sends him knocking off the rope, and onto the floor. Kane then picks Rey up, but Rey gets down, and lands a drop tahoe, and sends Kane head first into the barricade. In the ring, Rey then goes for a headbutt of the top rope! Rey then tries to pick up the pace, but Kane takes him down, and goes for a cover. Kane then stretches Rey’s back, and tries to make him quit. But, Rey doesn’t give up easily, and begins to send some knees into Kane’s jaw. Kane then takes control, and goes for a pin on Rey.

Rey is down, and Kane then gets on the top rope. Rey gets up, and sends some punches onto Kane. Rey then takes Kane down, going for a hurricanrana, but Kane doesn’t go down. Rey is down, and Kane flies off the top rope, only for Rey to move! Rey is then on Kane, and sends him into the mat! Rey goes for a pin, but Kane kicks out. Rey gets on the top rope, and lands a seated senton! He goes off the rope, but is caught by Kane, only to land a DDT! Rey goes for a cover, and Kane kicks out. Rey gets on the rope, and gives a leg drop to Kane. Rey goes for a cover, and Kane kicks out. Rey then sends a vicious kick, and gets another nearfall. Rey goes on the top rope, but Kane gets the best of him and take him down. Kane then opens up the casket, and grabs Rey’s throat. Rey gets down, and Rey gets the 619 ! Kane catches him, and sends him into the casket, Rey then kicks Kane, gets up and closes the casket!

Rey goes for the 619, but Kane goes for a chokeslam, Rey then reverses into a 619, lands, and goes for a splash, but Kane moves, and Rey counters into a pin. Kane kicks out at two, and then gets the better half of Rey. Kane then chokeslams Rey, and retains his title.

Kane then gets on the microphone, and tells Rey he will pay, and will live in the casket. Kane goes to open the casket, and Rey begins to kick Kane! Kane closes the casket, and grabs Rey…another chokeslam. Then another… Kane picks up Rey and goes for a tombstone piledriver. Kane then drags Rey, and opens the casket, only for the Undertaker to be in there! Kane looks terrified, and Undertaker looks fierce! Rey is in the corner, and Kane is in the other. Undertaker looks at Rey… and says he’s gonna make things right. Then he says “Why’d you do it?” Rey says “it wasn’t me…I swear!” Undertaker then says he believes him, and grabs him by the throat and lifts him up. Kane smirks, and Undertaker releases his throat, and does looks at Kane. Taker then grabs Kane by the throat, and Kane just laughs, and grabs Taker’s throat, and sends him into a tombstone.

Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler (with Vickie Guerrero) by pinfall
SmackDown opens up with Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler celebrating his recent title win. Teddy Long then comes out and said that Dolph is gonna be in a match tonight, against our own, Rey Mysterio!

After the announcement, Kane defeated Kofi Kingston and went onto the microphone talking about how Rey will have hell to pay this coming Sunday, and how he will be placed in a casket. Kane then goes on to say that vengeance will be delivered and as Kane goes to do his pyro move, Rey comes out! Rey gets on the microphone and talks about how Kane is speaking lies, and about how Kane is a demon, and what not, but Rey is one of God’s saints! Rey then goes on to say again that Rey ISN’T the one who hurt Taker’, but it was Rey! Then Rey goes on to say that Kane has been living in Taker’s shadow since they were born, and that he had the most to gain. Rey then goes on to say that if Kane didn’t steal the title from him, then they BOTH know that Taker’ would have the title. Rey then said it’s not Kane’s fault, because this Sunday, Rey will take it back!

Later on, Rey came out to a huge pop to take on Dolph Ziggler. Dolph then comes out, with Rey’s former friend, Vickie Guerrero. The match starts with a bunch of headlocks being thrown. Dolph takes control over Rey, and goes for a quick pin. Rey is backed in the corner, and Dolph was holding his knee on Rey’s neck but Rey quickly escaped it. Dolph then begins to stomp on Rey’s chest, and then gets him in a grounding headlock. Rey is up and out and begins to fly around the ring. Rey then sets Dolph up into the 619, and as he goes to connect, Kane comes out, with a casket!

Rey, however, continues with the match as Kane is on ringside. Rey went for his seated senton on Dolph, only to miss and get a clothesline. That then allowed Dolph to take control over Rey. Dolph goes for a pin on Rey, but he kicks out at two. Dolph then stomps on Rey, and lands some elbows, and goes for a pin – Rey kicks out again. Ziggler then takes Rey into a submissive move in the middle of the ring, on Rey’s neck area. Rey begins to fight through, sending some punches to Ziggler! Rey makes it to his feet, and kicks Ziggler. Rey then takes Dolph, gives him a few elbows, and sends him shoulder first into the steel ring post! Ziggler is down, and Rey then hops off the top rope, and now lands his Seated Senton and his beautiful springboard! Rey goes for a cover, but Ziggler kicks out! Ziggler goes for a a nearfall, but Rey reverses him and kicks him right into the temple! Rey and Ziggler on battling it out now, Ziggler anticipating Rey to get up.

Rey gets up, and Ziggler locks in his Sleeper Hold, but Rey has it blocked! Rey then goes for a moonsault, gets caught, and goes for his own sleeper! However, Dolph takes Rey, and backs up into the ringpost, weakening Rey’s back. That then allows Ziggler to take advantage, and for him to lock on the Sleeper Hold, but Rey reverses, and sets him up into the 619! Ziggler backs out, and Rey then rolls up Ziggler for the win!

After the match, Kane comes in, only for Rey to give Kane a beautiful 619 to the back of his head! Kane then easily gets up, and grabs Rey throat. Rey is in the ring, while Kane is on the apron, and Rey sits down and takes Kane arm down with him! Rey kicks Kane a few times, and he is teetering off of the apron! Rey then kicks Kane into the casket, sending Kane away, for Rey to pose in the ring!

Rey Mysterio defeated Drew McIntyre
SmackDown opens up with Rey’s music blaring, and Rey walking out! He comes out to a gigantic pop. Rey gets on the mic, and talks about what Kane did to him last week – choke slamming him into the Gulf of Mexico. Rey then said that his lungs got filled with water, and he couldn’t catch his breath. He then said his life flashed in front of his eyes, and when Rey struggled to reach the surface, he saw Kane, walk away. Rey goes on to say that he’s been through a lot in his career, but, he’s never been accused of something he didn’t do. Rey then says that Rey has always been honest with the fans, and that he DID NOT have anything to do with the Undertaker. Rey then goes on to say that Kane has been delusional, even crazy! Rey then goes on to say that caskets freak him out, and that there is only one person who can judge him, NOT Kane. Rey then says that God knows who attacked the Undertaker, and Rey knows too!

While Rey is in mid-sentence, out of nowhere, Drew McIntyre comes walking down the ramp. Drew gets on the mic, and says there are names for people like Rey . That those who wear masks, and there called “criminals”. Drew then goes on to say that Rey has pulled the wool over the eyes of the WWE Universe for decades, but now, the truth is finally out. Drew goes on to say, “how could you Rey ?” He goes on to say Rey is supposed to be a hero, how could he do what he did. Drew goes on to say how CM Punk and Jack Swagger was falsely accused, and how Rey did nothing. Rey goes on to say that it wasn’t any of his business -and it’s true, it isn’t! Drew then says he admires what “Rey did” and wishes he tooken out the Undertaker himself. Drew goes on to say that Rey needed help to “take out the Undertaker” and that someone like Rey isn’t capable of taking out someone like the Undertaker. Drew goes on to boast about himself, and says that if Rey agrees, there will be a match tonight, between Drew and Rey tonight! Drew is yelling in Rey’s face, and Rey says to calm down! How DARE Drew come out, and disrespect Rey in front of HIS people?! Rey then gets fierce, and says he’s gonna get aggressive tonight! Him and Drew, one on one, later tonight!

Later on, Rey comes out once again, to receive a huge pop! The match begins and Drew quickly takes Rey into the corner. Drew then backs up, and the men are in the middle again. Rey begins to kick Drew, and uses his agility to make Drew angry! Rey signals Drew to come, but he doesn’t. Rey goes to motion him again, but Drew comes and takes him down, by throwing some wild punches at his head. Drew McIntyre then takes control, and sends some hard kicks into Rey’s stomach area. Rey is down on the mat, in pain, and Drew comes back to hurt Rey again. But, Rey is up and is flying around the ring! Rey sets Drew up into the 619, but Drew comes out of it before Rey can connect. Drew gets out of the ring, and Rey sends a beautiful cross body towards Drew! Back in the ring, Drew has control, and is stomping on various areas of Rey’s body, including his head.

Rey then takes control of the match once again, by sending Drew out of the ring! Rey then lands a beautiful hurricanrana on Drew, sending him into the barricade! Back in the ring, Drew took control once again. Rey is in the corner, and Drew sends some punches, then whips him into the other, but Rey lifts his legs, and sends a kick towards Drew! Rey then hops on the front shoulders of Drew, but Drew takes Rey and throws him into the ringpost. Drew then goes outside of the ring, and wraps Rey’s leg around the ringpost. Drew then takes Rey, and viciously tosses him into the announce table – face first. Rey makes it into the ring on the count of 9, and Drew goes right after him. Drew then takes Rey into the center, and locks in a submission move.

Rey begins to kick through, and lands a huge kick into Drew’s face. Rey then goes for his bulldog, but Drew counters, and takes Rey down – face first! Drew is beginning to to aggravated as Rey isn’t staying down. Drew once again takes Rey into a submission move, and the crowd begins to get wild for Rey! But, like always, Rey begins to kick out and begins to fasten the pace of the match! Rey lands a beautiful DDT on Drew, and Rey then hops onto the top rope and lands his West Coast Pop! Rey then gets on the second rope, and lands a flying cross body! After a near fall, Rey begins to move around again, but Drew takes him down once again, and goes for his own pin, only for Rey to kick out at 2! Drew takes Rey into the corner, and begins to throw his shoulder into Rey’s stomach, and begins to exert a lot of pain onto Rey. Drew is in the middle of the ring over Rey, looking as angry as possible. Drew then takes Rey and is about to send him into his DDT, but Rey counters, and takes Drew into the 619! Rey goes to land it, but Drew moves out in the nick of time! Rey then hops on the rope, and pulls out a beautiful rollup on Drew! 1-2-3! Rey defeated Drew!

Rey then gets on the mic and says “I have news!” in Spanish. As soon as he can finish that sentence, Kane comes out with a casket. Rey is in the ring, ready to take on Kane, as he makes his way into the ring. Drew McIntyre then comes, and knocks Rey down onto his stomach. Kane hovers over Rey as he gets up, and Rey sees him. Rey then backs out of the way, and runs down the ramp. Rey then has a mic in his hand, and says “It wasn’t me, who took out the Undertaker. It was you, Kane! It was you!” Rey points at Kane, as he’s having a nervous breakdown screaming “no, no, no!” Kane then gets on his knee and says he “loves his brother” and begins to look up into the sky, like he’s crying.

SmackDown! opens up with Kane cutting a promo about Rey Mysterio, saying that the Undertaker woke, and then said Rey was the one who attacked him! Kane goes on a huge speech about how Rey will suffer. Kane then says that Rey will be damned to hell, and will then cease to exist.

It’s time for the match, and Rey Mysterio comes out to a HUGE pop! Rey is shown limping, yet makes his way to greet the fans anyway! Jack Swagger then makes his way to the ring and the match begins! Jack quickly backs Rey up into a corner, and begins to throw punches. Since this is a no disqualification match, Swagger can do anything he pleases. Rey gets up, and Swagger just takes him, and throws him into the corner, again. Swagger then goes for his launch off the ropes, but Rey gets up, and takes control! Rey throws some punches, and maneuvers around the ring. Rey dials up the 619, but Swagger moves out of the way. Rey then goes for a moonsault, but Swagger takes Rey’s ankle, and puts him into the ankle lock! Yet! Rey is smarter than that, and reverses, sending Swagger into the steel stairs near the ring.

Back in the ring, the men are on the top rope, and Jack is looking to take Rey down. Rey holds on to the ropes, and begins to beat Swagger, but then headbutts him off the top rope! Rey stands up and lands a West Coast Pop! Rey then gets up and launches himself off the second rope, only for Swagger to move out of the Rey. Rey is on near the apron, and Swagger goes to grab him, but Rey sends Swagger over the top rope. Rey then goes for a baseball slide into a hurricarana move, sending Swagger into the barricade. Rey goes for his bulldog, but Swagger just plants him onto the barricade instead. Swagger then takes Rey, and throws him into the crowd. Swagger then punches Rey, and carries him through the crowd. Rey then makes it to his feet, and kicks Swagger in the temple! Rey is a little bit dazed, but continues to fight, giving a swift kick to Swagger’s lower back! Swagger is now close to Rey, and Rey sends Swagger into the railing. Rey hops on the railing, and goes for a West Coast Pop, but Jack catches him! Jack then rams Rey’s body into the steel railings, not once – but twice.

Swagger now drags Rey out of the arena, and into the hall way. Swagger takes Rey and slams him into the walls. Swagger then takes Rey, and slams him into the merchandise table. Rey gets up, and Swagger is hunting him down. Rey is on the ground, and Swagger picks him up, and rolls him out of the door of the arena. Swagger then takes Rey, and uses him as his personal door opener, by sending Rey into the door, and out of the building. Swagger then slams Rey into a small steel fence. Rey is crossing the street, and Swagger continues his brutal attack. Swagger picks up Rey, and the men almost get hit by a car. Rey begins to get away, but Swagger kicks him right in the abdomen area. The men are now near the water, and Rey is being carried by Swagger. Rey gets down, and starts attacking Swagger like crazy! The men are now inches away from the water, and Rey gets on the concrete railing, and lands a West Coast Pop onto Swagger! Rey begins to kick Swagger like Swagger kicked Rey, landing his kicks in the abdomen, face, and other areas! Rey then goes for another kick, but Swagger stops it, and gets on top of him, sending punches to Rey’s head.

Jack then says “You’re no champion Rey, I’M the champion. You’re not even half the man I am!” and Rey is just on the ground, in pain. Swagger picks him up, and slums him onto his shoulders. Jack is getting closer to the water, and Rey gets off Jack’s shoulders, and sends Swagger FLYING into the water! Jack begins to yell “Help Me! I can’t swim! AH!” and Rey walks away, only for Kane to come out of literally everywhere, and chokeslams him into some shallow water. SmackDown then ends with Kane staring at the men.

Rey Mysterio defeated Jack Swagger twice in a two-out-of-three falls match to become Number One Contender for the WHC!

Rey is shown backstage with preparing as Josh Matthews walks in. Josh asks Rey about the two out of three falls match tonight, and asks if Rey is able to handle it. Rey says that he has gone through a lot of pain, and he was just starting his story as World Champion. Rey said he wouldn’t of done the same thing as Kane, and he said he wasn’t happy with how things went down at Money in the Bank. Rey tells the universe that he’s ready to beat Jack twice tonight, and then goes on to say that next time, when he faces Kane, it will be a happy ending.

Later on, Rey comes out for his mask against Jack Swagger in a two out of three falls match. If Rey wins, he becomes number one contender for Kane’s new championship which he won from Rey to begin with. Rey comes out to a huge and beautiful pop from the crowd. Rey is seen slightly limping, but the fans are going absolutely crazy for Rey! Swagger follows, but gets booed drastically! The first match begins and Rey is ready! Jack quickly throws Rey into the turnbuckle, and Rey looks at him. In the middle, Swagger then tag Rey into the corner, and Rey moves out, and gets a near-fall via roll-up. Rey begins to kick and punch Swagger, but Swagger quickly punches Rey. Swagger then takes Rey into the corner, and slams his head into the turnbuckle. He then takes Rey, and whips him into the other one, but Rey gets up and counters! After battling it out, Rey takes Swagger and send him out of the ring! Rey then gives Swagger a beautiful baseball slide to Swagger’s face!

Back in the ring, Swagger has control over Rey. Swagger takes Rey into the corner, and steps on his abdomen. Swagger then picks Rey up and whips him into the opposite corner. After, Swagger goes for a pin only to get a near fall. Swagger then takes Rey into the corner again, kneeing him, and then whipping him again, but Rey knows it’s coming! Rey then delivers a drop toehold on Swagger. Rey gets on the turnbuckle, but Swagger takes him down. Swagger then takes control once again, and picks up and slams Rey into the mat. Swagger then stomps on Rey, and goes for a body scissor type submission hold. Rey goes for the rope, and Swagger breaks the hold on the third count. Rey is in the corner, and Swagger gets out of the ring, wrapping Rey’s ankle around the ringpost. Rey, in pain, holds onto his ankle in the middle of the ring. Swagger goes for a pin, but Rey kicks out! Swagger then goes for the injured ankle again, dropping it with force onto the mat. Rey is under the ropes, and Swagger then kicks Rey in the rib area. Swagger goes for a pin, but Rey kicks out! Rey then begins to kick Swagger, which hazes him for a bit. Rey then gets a crossbody on Swagger, and a two count nearfall! Rey then gives a swift kick to Swagger’s head, and the crows begins to chant “619!”

Rey goes for his bulldog, but Swagger takes Rey face first into the mat, and locks his ankle lock on Rey! BUT! Rey makes it to the rope, only for Swagger to be able to pull Rey away just in time. Rey then reaches another rope, and Jack doesn’t break the count, causing a disqualification!

Match 1: Rey Mysterio defeated Jack Swagger VIA Disqualification!

Rey is outside of the ring, and once he enters, Jack backs him into the corner before the second match begins. Rey gets up, and the match is now underway. Rey gets on the top rope, and brings Swagger into a 619! But, this time, Swagger catches Rey into an ankle lock, and Rey has no choice to tap from the previous ankle lock! Jack Swagger wins the second match.

Match 2: Jack Swagger defeated Rey Mysterio by submission

Rey is out of the ring again, and once he’s in the center, the third match is underway. Rey, who is in sever pain, is on the ropes, as Swagger begins to attack Rey’s ankle again. Swagger then rolls out of the ring, attempting to bring Rey with him, but Rey kicks out ! Swagger takes Rey out, and SLAMS Rey down on the floor, on his lower spine! Both men are back in the ring, with Rey laying in pain. Swagger then hops over Rey, launching himself off the second rope, not once, but twice, and goes for a pin. BUT! Rey kicks out! Swagger then goes for the move again, but Rey catches him with his feet, making Swagger hazy once again! Rey then hops on the top rope, and lands a West Coast Pop! After, Swagger goes for a gutwrench powerbomb, but Rey counters! Rey then lands Swagger in this amazing rollup, and gets a pin! 1-2-3! ReyMysterio is your NEW number one contender! Rey will face Kane at Summer Slam!

Match 3: Rey Mysterio defeated Jack Swagger

After the match, Jack Swagger portraying signs of him being a sore loser, Jack goes for a ankle lock on Rey, and slams his ankle down. BUT! Kane comes out to Rey’s aid, giving Jack a choke-slam. But, Kane has no friends only foes, and looks at Rey. Rey is in the corner, being trapped by Kane. Kane picks Rey up and Rey is ready to battle, one leg and all! Kane raises Rey’s hand in victory, which is shocking. Rey then poses to the crowd, tired, and in pain. But! Kane comes after Rey and goes for a choke-slam. Rey counters, and takes Kane into the 619 and connects ! Rey then literally rolls out of the ring, and onto the ramp, showing Kane that he’s ready!

Rey Mysterio pinned Jack Swagger to retain his championship, only for Kane to come in afterward and cash it on Rey – becoming the new Champion.
A nice promo of the recent feud between Rey Mysterio and Jack Swagger is shown. Jack then comes out with a grim look on his face. Rey then comes out to a beautiful pop, sporting Black. He’s lightly limping to the ring, but man does that title look beautiful around his waist ! He reaches the ring, and as the men get announced, the fans go crazy for Rey!

The match begins and the men circle each other. Jack goes after Rey, but he’s too quick for him! Jack goes for Rey’s bad ankle, but Rey moves again! Jack picks Rey up and backs him into the corner. Rey gets at him after the break, and Swagger goes for Rey’s ankle. In the middle of the ring, Jack goes for Rey’s ankle AGAIN, but Rey kicks him this time ! Rey is too swift, and as Rey is on the ropes, Swagger goes for a dive on him, but Rey moves! After a few moves, Jack gets a hold of Rey, and ties him up on the corner, and runs into him! BUT! Rey is too quick, and moves and makes Jack go into the ring-post. Rey then gets up, and gives Swagger a West Coast Pop! Rey then feels the pain on his ankle however, but he gets right up! Jack is back in the ring, and Rey gets on the rope. Jack jumps up to Rey quickly, and gets a belly-to-belly throw on Rey.

Rey is down in the middle, and Swagger goes for Rey, attacking him. Rey then rolls out of the ring, holding onto his ankle. Jack comes out and makes Rey go head first into the announcing table. Swagger then stands on Rey’s injured ankle, and then tosses Rey in the ring. Jack goes for a nearfall, but Rey kicks out. Jack then goes for a knee-submission hold on Rey’s injured knee. Rey begins to kick Jack, and when Rey flies, Jack picks up Rey, and rolls him into a cover. But, Rey kicks out! Jack then picks up Rey and tosses him around like a ragdoll. Rey is down, and Jack goes for the move that he always does off the turnbuckles, but Rey moves, and kicks Swagger in the head! Rey gets on the top rope, and another West Coast Pop! Swagger gets up, and goes after Rey, but Rey fights back! Rey sends Swagger into the turnbuckle head first, then goes for a beautiful moonsault type move! Rey is looking AMAZING tonight, pulling out beautiful moves. After a nearfall, Jack takes control and gets a nearfall for himself, by sending Rey into the mat back first. Rey is down, and Swagger is up. Jack goes for his gutwrench powerbomb, and lands it. But! They’re near the rope, and Rey moves his leg onto the rope! The count is broken!

Swagger upset, goes for Rey’s ankle, but Rey kicks him with his other leg. Rey is on Swaggers shoulder, and then sends Jack shoulder first into the ringpost! Rey is on the apron, and climbs to the top. Swagger gets up, and begins to punch Rey. Swagger sits and puts Rey on his shoulders. Swagger stands up and Jack is about to throw Rey, but Rey reverses with a BEAUTIFUL DDT! Rey THEN CONNECTS A 619! He gets on the top rope, goes for the pin, but Jack turns it into a anklelock. Rey then gets into the ropes, and lands his move off the second rope. He then lands the same move again, and drags him towards the middle. Rey is down, and Jack is now attacking the ankle of Rey. Swagger then twists Rey into the ankle lock, and Rey’s boot comes off, and Jack is turned into a 619 and then Rey gets a roll up on Jack! 1-2-3! Rey RETAINS ! After the match, Swagger goes for Rey’s ankle once again! But Kane then comes out of nowhere, and punches Jack to the back! Rey is left in the ring, holding his beautiful championship like the proud champ he is!

Then, Kane comes back with his briefcase! Oh no! Rey is in the corner, in pain. Rey gets up! Oh no! Kane goes after Rey, and goes after the injured ankle. Kane throws Rey into the mat face first, and then grabs Rey…chokeslam…..tombstone piledriver….. Kane is your new world champion. After the match, Kane stands over Rey. Gloating. Boo.

A brief recap of Rey Mysterio and Jack Swagger are shown. It shows Jack hurting Rey two weeks ago, and then shows what happened last week. After wards, Rey is shown backstage with the trainer again. Rey is shown in pain while the trainer is putting on Rey’s ankle brace. Rey then grabs the title, and then he’s in a interview. Rey tells Josh Matthews that Rey is feeling a lot of pain, especially when standing. When asked how he’ll be able to defend this Sunday, Rey then says “I’m not. I think I’m gonna go out and forfeit my title to Jack Swagger.” Josh then asks Rey if he’s sure, and Rey just stands up and says he’s not gonna! Of course not! Rey stands up, and said thanks to the doctors Rey will be able to walk around on the ankle. That he will defend his title this Sunday! Then he says that Jack showed him a moment of desperation last week, but by attacking the Undertaker, karma comes around in mysterious ways!

Later on, while Jack Swagger was showing his proof of how he didn’t injure the Undertaker to the world, Rey Mysterio came out ! Jack had a mean ankle lock on Kane, and Rey came out, and gave Swagger a mean 619! As he runs out, he then jumps on top of Jack, leaving Kane to finish his work and take out both Swagger’s.

Rey Mysterio is seen backstage, with a trainer, and the trainer begins talking about how Rey’s bone is broken. Out of nowhere, right when Rey is about to talk about the ‘injury’. Jack Swagger comes out of no where and screams “EVERYONE OUT” and grabs Rey in an ankle-lock. Rey is screaming LOUDLY in pain, yet no one is doing anything. Swagger drags Rey down the hall and then releases him, throwing him into a giant board of wood. Swagger continues to do the ankle lock to Rey, and then drags him out to the arena. Rey continues to scream in pain, and then FINALLY someone comes to the aid of Rey. Big Show comes, and then saves the day, for the trainers to aid Rey.

Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio & Big Show defeated Cody Rhodes & Jack Swagger by DQ.

SmackDown opens up with Jack Swagger whining about loosing the title. Big Show comes out and confronts him, and begins to walk to the ring. Cody Rhodes attacks him, and there is a two-on-one ambush. While in the ring, Rey Mysterio comes out and clears the ring – aiding the Big Show ! Rey gives a West Coast Pop to Swag, and a Hurricarana to Cody Rhodes !

Later on, Rey Mysterio came out to a HUGE pop, with the World Championship wrapped beautifully around his waist ! He greets each kid with a huge smile, and walks towards the ring, showing off his title. He grabs a mic, and has the hugest grin. He holds up the title and says “it feels great!” He then said that it’s the best, and that it once again feels great to relive his dream, and be the World Champion! Rey tells the Universe that it took him his whole career to get the top, and that not ONE superstar is gonna take it away. As he speaks, so many Rey signs are shown throughout the crowd. Rey then said that when Rey’s champion, opponents are not competing against Rey, but the entire 619!

After Rey’s beautiful speech, the match of Rey & the Big Show VS. jack Swagger and Cody Rhodes begin. Rey faces of against Cody first, and Cody attempts to get the better half of Rey. But, Rey begins to fly around, and outsmarts Cody by kicking him in the face ! Rey goes to his corner, and tags in the Big Show! Show does his business, and clears the ring of Swagger and Cody ! Back in the ring, Rey Mysterio is in the ring with Cody. Cody takes control of Rey until they’re battling it out on the top rope. Rey lays Rhodes down, and gives a West Coast Pop to Rhodes ! He goes for the pin, but only gets a two count.

Rhodes gets tagged, but it was a blind tag for Rey. He sets Rhodes up for the 619, and Swagger gives him a big boot instead. Swagger then takes Rey into the turnbuckle, and gives him some shoulders/punches. He then slams Rey down on the mat, and tags Cody in when he brings Rey into their corner. Rhodes goes for a pin on Rey, who kicks out ! In the middle of the ring, Cody goes for a submissive move, but Rey begins to kick out ! He kicks Cody, only for Rhodes to get a kick to Rey’s head! Rhodes goes for the pin, but Rey kicks out. Swagger is then tagged in, and gets in Rey’s face. Swagger then goes for his own submission, trying to add pain to Rey’s rib area. Rey kicks through tho! He begins to kick Swagger, and goes for a moonsault, but is caught by Swagger ! But, Rey reverses whatever Swag was thinking, and lands a DDT ! Rey makes it to the Big Show, and tags him in!

Big Show is down, and tags Rey in ! Swagger is in the ring, and Rey hops off the top rope, delivering a leg drop to Swagger ! Cody Rhodes breaks up the count, and takes Show out. Rey sets Swag up for the 619, and when Rey goes for it, Swagger grabs Rey, and goes for the ankle lock! HOWEVER ! Rey is in the middle of the ropes, meaning that Swagger has to break it up, but he doesn’t! He continues, and gets his team disqualified. He then drags Rey out of the ropes, and wrongfully continues the hold, making him ‘pay’ for winning what Rey deserves. Show, who’s knee is in pain, comes to the ring, but Swagger pulls Rey away from Swagger. When Show comes closer, Swagger finally releases Rey and drops him to the floor. Rey is shown holding his knee/leg in pain, and Show then comes down, apologizing to Rey for not helping him.
