Madison Square Garden in New York City is advertising Rey Mysterio VS. Kane for the World Championship. The advertised show is scheduled for September 25, 2010.

Maybe this means Rey will be retaining till September?!

The Dark Main Event after SmackDown! in Uncasville, CT saw Jack Swagger retain his World Title against Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio.

In recent news, Rey Mysterio VS. Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship is being advertised for the main events at the SmackDown! shows in Tennessee on May 1st and May 2nd. Perhaps Rey will feud with Swagger, and get the push he rightfully deserves ?

In recent house shows, Rey Mysterio has been advertised to take on CM Punk in a Tennessee Street Fight at the Knoxville, Tennessee Live Event on May 1st.

In Yakima, Washington, Rey and Edge got huge pops, while Punk and Jericho got a lot of heat by making fun of Mexicans – which made up a vast amount of the crowd. However, Mysterio landed a 619 on Punk, which was then followed by a Spear by Edge to gain the win for Mysterio-Edge.

In Pullman, Washington, Rey Mysterio landed a 619 on Chris Jericho, Punk hit a GTS on Rey Mysterio, and then Edge speared Punk. After wards, Jericho threw Edge out of the ring, and pinned Mysterio to retain. Sources said the match was great, and Rey got a lot of high flying spots.

January 23, 2010 – Rey Mysterio and Kane defeated Chris Jericho and CM Punk (w/ Luke Gallows)
In Hammond, Indiana, Mysterio and Kane teamed up together to defeat Jericho and Punk. Before the match, Jericho and Punk complimented one another, and Rey told Jericho he should shave his head to show the love Jericho has for Punk. The match was said to be a really good and fun main event, and there was a lot of high points. Mysterio got on Kane’s shoulder and hit a splash. Later, when Mysterio was in trouble, Kane tagged in, as well as Punk, only for Punk to trip over the ropes, and Jericho laughed in his corner ! Later on, Rey got a double 619 in, and Kane got a choke slam to win it all.
