Here are the spoilers for this weeks Friday Night Smackdown, which would be aired on Friday, December 4. They were taped last night, Sunday, November 29. Highlight below to view the spoilers.

Once again, rumors are surfacing the Net’ about Rey’s in-ring return at a recent house show. It was said that this was not a one time thing, and that he might be postponing his surgery. It is said that Rey Mysterio was attending the Smackdown! show last night, however, and was expected to work the show. Once again, the rumors are spreading like wildfire, and various wrestling rumor sites are claiming that Rey Mysterio is either postponing the surgery again, or the creative team at WWE is trying to find a better way of writing him out for a while. Either way, the only way to know the truth, is to stay tuned for more details.

At a recent house show, Rey Mysterio was in action against Chris Jericho. This is different, seeing how various sites are reporting that Rey Mysterio will need surgery. If Rey is in the ring wrestling, then it seems as if he’s not going under the knife as of yet. Stay tuned for more information.

Here are the house show results for last night.

November 28, 2009 – Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho.
In Upper Marlboro, Maryland Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho in what was the main event, with a lot of stalling. Jericho was called ‘Christina’ and Rey Mysterio wasn’t necessarily ’selling‘ the injury from Survivor Series, except for the fact that Rey had taped shoulders/rib cage. Rey won when he landed a 619 and Springboard Splash.

Speculations are once again surfing the web that Rey Mysterio might be back in time for the Royal Rumble.

Rey is planning on going in for a minor surgery for his ACL injury, and hopes to take things easily, so he can be back quickly. He does NOT want to stay out long, and he wants to make it for next years Wrestlemania.

There was a fear going around with WWE officials that Rey would be out for a minimum of 6 months. Rey is looking to take the short way out right now, and go back later on, and get the full surgery and rest he needs.

He will probably be written out of television for quite awhile. He also signed over 500+ copies of his new book last night, in New Jersey. From resources, they said he did not sell the ‘injury’ from Survivor Series.

Raw is airing, and Rey Mysterio’s music hits ! I was pretty excited, only to find Batista come out instead. Batista discussed how Rey Mysterio will be spending Thanksgiving in a hospital bed. He discussed how Rey ’stabbed him in the back’ and happened to cost him the World Heavyweight title. He said he could of ’snapped Rey that night’ but he wanted to be the ‘bigger man’ and give Rey the chance to walk away. Rey never walks away, and Batista confronted him about it. Talking about how Rey embarrassed Dave, and how he chose to power-bomb Rey until the Medical Helps had to ’scrape him’ off the chairs. He then goes on to say the WHC is now his, and no one is taking it.

Sadly, due to Rey having to ’sell’ the injury, he was not at Raw. Speculations are hitting the web that Rey will be having surgery soon.
