So, a lot of you guys have been tweeting/e-mailing me that you’re having issues writing a letter to Rey Mysterio for the Scrapbook Project. I decided that I would post my letter, so you guys can have a source of inspiration. Of course, it’s not the FULL letter, as somethings I say are things I’d like only for him to read. Of course, you guys respect that. Remember, you have until July 21, 2011 to send in your letters. There is NO limit to what you can send, just keep it positive! Send everything to iitskariina@yahoo.com , and title the subject “Rey Mysterio Scrapbook.” Hopefully you guys don’t think I sound that dorky in the letter, because I too had no idea what to write! Haha.

Dear Rey Mysterio,

Hey Rey! My name is Karina, and I’m a huge fan of yours. Over the past two months, I have been working on this huge project for you, entitled “Rey Mysterio Scrapbook.” Catchy, right? The project is what you’re currently reading right now. It features letters, photos, messages and all that jazz from fans all over the world! Not only are there messages, there are DVDs that include tribute videos people have made for you. If you’re wondering how I collected all of these things, I gathered everything on my site, R-Mysterio.Com . A fansite that I own on you, of course.

Anyway, this giant scrapbook is everything the fans want to say to you and then some. I hope you like it, as I put a lot of hard work and time into creating it. I wanted to make something perfect, and hopefully, you like it! If not, darn! Anyway, hope you get to read everything and watch the DVDs I included. I honestly hope you like it as much as I do. And of course, I do owe your fanbase for sending in their letters. A lot of them are really good, and are very sweet.

What else can I say? I’m obviously a huge fan of yours. I look up to you as a role model, idol, hero, etc. You truly do inspire me to do well, and honestly, watching you has changed my life. I’m so glad I got into wrestling when I did and so glad I picked it back up after I stopped watching for awhile. I’ve been watching a lot of your old matches lately, and you truly do amaze me! I have matches from your WCW days, and most of your WWE career as well. I even found an AAA match! Everything you have done is just jaw-dropping! No wonder why you’re not just my favorite high flyer, but my favorite wrestler as well. Anyway, hope all is well with you. I really don’t know what else to say, I probably made myself sound like a total dork, and I’m sorry for that! I also forgot to mention, this giant scrapbook is to celebrate the anniversary of your WWE Debut. It’ll be nine years on July 25. Thank you for sticking around so long, and keeping your fans happy. You truly are one of the best wrestlers out there. I hope one day I can tell you that face-to-face. (:

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. You truly do have an amazing fanbase, I met quite a few people who are a huge fan of yours, just like me. It’s great to be a 619er !
