WWE.com has posted another article entitled “Top 25 Intercontinental Champions” and two time IC Champion, Rey Mysterio was featured at #25. They wrote a little blurb on him which read:

While the Intercontinental Championship has often been a gateway to the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship for many Superstars, some competitors have grabbed the title after winning those championships. Such is the case with Rey Mysterio who claimed his first Intercontinental Championship at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania when he defeated JBL in the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it time of 21 seconds. The Ultimate Underdog would then defend his title against Chris Jericho in an exciting series of matches that reminded the WWE Universe of how coveted the Intercontinental Championship truly is.
