Rey Mysterio defeated Luke Gallows (with the Straight Edge Society

Luke Gallows arrives first, accompanied by the Straight Edge Society. Punk cuts a promo about how Rey’s popularity stands for one thing – that Rey isn’t a proper role model. That the children should ‘looooooove’ Rey Mysterio. Punk tells the kids they love him because their parents are neglectful, and Rey isn’t a hero, but a average neglectful parent. Punk says that Rey won’t approach him, and will take ‘cheap’ shots at him. Punk tells Gallows to make Rey pay for his actions last week. Rey then comes out, and is out to a huge pop ! Rey greets his amazing fans, and makes it toward the ring.

The match begins, and Gallows backs Rey up in a corner and throws some punches. Luke Gallows dominates Rey for the moment, and Rey then starts to fly around ! Rey picks up the pace, only for Gallows to bring him down. Gallows has control, and is trying to ‘punish’ Rey. Rey gets a kick on Gallows, and send him out of the ring ! Punk then goes to Gallows and tells him he has to get in there, and get Rey.

Back in the ring, Rey had control, but Gallows quickly took it back. Rey was thrown spine first into the ring post, and then laid out on the floor. Punk then came over, and just stared at Rey. Luke grabs Rey, and throws him back into the ring. Back in, Rey backs up to the corner, and receives some punches from Gallows. Gallows then lands a two count, and keeps control on Rey. A 619 chant began, and Rey starts battling back ! Rey goes off the second rope, only to be caught, and Gallows landed another near fall. Then, Mysterio is in the corner, and Luke tries to go head first into his abdomen, but Rey does a massive leap over him and starts flying ! A cross body comes in, and Rey quickly gets a near fall ! Rey is brought down again, but only lets Gallows have a two count. Rey starts reversing, and then Rey goes off the top rope, only for Gallows to notice, and bring him down. On the top rope, Rey takes Gallows down, jumps off, and gets a uppercut. Gallows goes for the pin, 1 – 2, Rey kicks out ! Rey then locks in a move he hasn’t used. He then gets Gallows in the ropes, but Sereena hops on the apron, and Punk hops in the ring. Gallows goes for a move, but Rey reverses, and gets the pin !

After the match, Punk hops in the ring quickly, and sets Rey up for the GTS, but Rey reverses, with a swift kick bring Punk down, and didn’t let Punk get him ! Mysterio then tells Punk that he isn’t going to sleep anytime soon.
